What Are You Doing During Coronavirus Social Distancing?
How are you dealing with the Coronavirus social distancing?
To use this time efficiently, I have a link to free University Courses from the top US Schools.
Click for free courses from the 8 Ivy League schools, which are among the most prestigious colleges in the world. They include Brown, Harvard, Cornell, Princeton, Dartmouth, Yale, Columbia universities, and the University of Pennsylvania.
So far, they’ve created over 500 courses, of which around 450 are still active.
I know you may be feeling bored, tired, and stressed out, but I believe that the most successful people are those who make the best out of their situation. We have all heard of prisoners who used their time in prison to write and publish their books or learn a new language.
Stress during an infectious disease outbreak (Coronavirus) can include:
- Stress and worry about your health and the health of your loved ones
- Changes in sleep or eating patterns
- Difficulty sleeping or concentration
- Worsening of chronic health problems
- Increased use of alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs
Things you can do to support yourself?
- Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including social media. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting.
- Take care of your body. Take deep breaths, stretches, or meditate. Try to eat healthy, well-balanced meals, exercise regularly (even at home), get plenty of sleep, and avoid alcohol and drugs.
- Make time to unwind. Try to do some other activities you enjoy.
- Connect with others. Talk with people you trust about your concerns and how you are feeling.
I understand it’s not easy. But your stress is not going to help at all. Take this time to do things that you’ve always wanted to do. Write that book that you’ve intended to write or read that book you’ve always wanted to read and never had the time for. Learn something new from the internet; a fresh meal to cook ?? ?? or do that new drawing. Wash your hands and keep social distancing. Stay home!”
Call your healthcare provider if stress gets in the way of your daily activities for several days in a row. Let me know if I can help.
Let’s keep our social distance and learn something new.
