Baby food introduction: Introducing solid food
When introducing solid food to your baby, try to use foods rich in iron, vitamin C and zinc to help foster growth.
Do not introduce egg white and wheat before 12 months because it is a high allergen.
When introducing food to your infant, please watch out for any new reaction for the first three times that the food is being introduced. Skin rashes, behavioral changes, changes in bowel movement, and runny nose are a few examples of reactions.

The following foods may be introduced at 9 months:
- Oatmeal
- Puffed Millet * to foster hand-eye-mouth co-ordination at this age.
- Puffed basmati rice
- Cabbage
- Beets

- Quinoa
- Chard
- Mashed potato
- Vegetables
- Nectarines
- Plum
- Sweet potato
- Split pea soup
12 months old baby:
The following foods may be introduced at 12 months:
Protein, iron, fiber, and zinc are especially important at this stage.
- Asparagus
- Goat’s milk
- Organic yogurt
- Lamb
- Chicken
- Brown rice
- Barley
24 months old baby:
The following foods may be introduced at 24 months:
- Lentils
- Cheese
- Soy
- Duck
- Sunflower seeds
- Shrimp
- Lamb’s liver
